• Question: If you could, would you go back in time to change you career choice to something else or are you happy with your choice, and would you recommend it to someone else?

      I have always enjoyed working whether it be in the RAF for 38 years or in my current role for the last 9 years so no I wouldn’t want to change my job at all.

      At this moment in time, I wouldn’t want to be anything but a nurse. I think if it came to a time where I didn’t love my job anymore, I would leave. Unless nursing radically changes, they’re stuck with me!

      I’m happy in my current job and would recommend being a GP as a really interesting and varied career.

      No I wouldn’t change from Medicine. I would certainly still recommend it to others.

      I would consider doing a 3 year standard degree first followed by a 4 year medical conversion course. Looking back I think I was still quite immature as an 18yr old going to med school so a 1st degree would help me grow up a bit and get university fun out of my system ready for the serious learning at Med School.
