Question: do you have any advice for someone who wants to be a neuro surgeon/respiratory surgeon?

Thanks George, you need to first get the right A levels for the medical school. Within medical school you can sometimes take a year out and do a BSc- you can think about doing yours in surgery. After that you can choose to specialise once your 2 years as a foundation dr are over. I would be looking at opportunities to sit in clinics or ask a neur or rest surgeon about their jobs to help you decide.
