(Nicky – psychiatrist) I think this is a personal thing and probably depends on your personal history a bit – say if someone reminds you of a family member affected by that particular mental health problem. Experience definitely helps. Not much phases me now.

I agree with Nicky.
In a way every condition can be hard to treat because as a psychiatrist you see the effect it might have had on the person, their life, their job, their relationships etc. We might see people that have lost their jobs, or committed a crime. We try and treat them and support them as best we can.
