• Question: what sort of skills do you need as a science student at univeristy?

      I think above all you need an inquisitive mind – you need to want to fundamentally know why something is the way it is rather than just wanting to know the facts. Other than that having persistence in spite of failing is a useful skill when it comes to experiments. Logical thinking is also important.
