About Me:
I live with my family in Nottingham. My husband and I both work in the National Health Service (NHS) at the City Hospital and Queens Medical Centre. My 3 children are now grown up; one successfully completed a History degree and works in Nottingham, one is doing her nurse training at Derby University and then the third is studying Biomedicine at Portsmouth.
I’m more of an outdoor person than indoor, but I love a good book, am trying to complete Assassins Creed Valhalla, have just bought a Nintendo Switch and am trying to each myself how to play a ukulele!
My Work:
I am a nurse by background but I’m now an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in a hospital. This job is a lot like a doctor but I have moved into managing teams of ACPs so that they can work better on the wards. I also work at the Training Hub as project lead trying to help and support other Advanced Clinical Practitioners and trainees in the county.
