I think so but it’s also worth remembering that it can be very stressful and emotional too. There are good career progression possibilities and specialities you can branch into.
Nursing is and always will be a very unique career.
like all careers, there are ups and downs and it certainly isn’t for everyone.
You see the very best and worst things in life and certainly will have a opportunity to help and support people when they are at their lowest or in pain and can HELP them get through it.
I have worked as a Nurse in many different settings and in different countries and don’t regret it at all.
It will never be the highest paid role compared to other careers, the current media focus on this is nothign new and has been an issue as long as I ‘ve been working,
would I change my role if I had the chance, no not really as this career has opened doors to me that otherwise would have been barred to me
