No to be honest I didnt I just wanted to get out and work . Once in the workplace and earning I then became keen to learn more and undertake training and qualification in relevant subjects to better myself in the job and prove I could do as good a job as some with more qualifications leaving school – and I did prove that .

Some of the time. Early on in secondary school I was bullied a bit, but when I made friends it was ok. I had some great teachers and not so great teachers.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I think a lot depends on your teachers, how well you get on with them and how passionate they are about the subjects they teach.

Yes I really did enjoy school – I have always enjoyed learning about new things and having my friends around me. School is somewhere that you can build good memories for life and the lessons you learn are often about yourself and other people as well as academic studies

I enjoyed my last few years of school. Mostly for all the friends I made but also due to some great and encouraging teachers.

I got on very well with lessons, and I was lucky to have good teachers. I struggled with making friends – I was always a little different from the other people in my classes. Funnily enough as soon as I was out at work I never had a problem making friends again!

I enjoyed school overall. Whilst it can have its ups and downs, it’s somewhere you get to be with lots of friends at the same time and there are teachers who genuinely want to support and guide you.
